The surprising and successful Pivot cabinet, which was designed in 2008 by the young Israeli designer Shay Alkalay, created a new typology by means of its drawers: these are hinged, which means they can both be opened at the same time, something which is not possible with conventional drawers. The innovative nature of this cabinet led to the Pivot winning various national and international awards.

At IMM 2011, Arco will be presenting two new versions of this unique cabinet. Lowering it and combining it with an (integrated) top creates an unusually practical and also highly distinctive workstation. This Pivot Desk is extremely suitable for use in a living room but also in a hotel lobby, for example. It's easy to sit at with a laptop. The cabinet makes it possible to store your accessories and requirements in an attractive way.

A transparent square "box" measuring 30x30 cm with Roman numerals engraved on the surface encompassing the "at clockface, available in three versions (white, black or chrome-plated) where the slim pair of coloured hands stand out in a chromatic synthesis transforming time into an aesthetic experience. Tic&Tac is a clock with impressive thicknesses creating a play of lights and re" ections. The inimitabile hand of Starck is emphasised by the orange hands, a colour fetish of the designer.
