swedish designer jonas wagell of jonas wagell design + architecture,
has created a series of new objects presented at the 2011 stockholm furniture fair.

'tray' designed in collaboration with bsweden, merges two functional
objects together to create a combined table lamp and metal tray.
an opaline glass globe sits on top of a spun aluminum base that is available
in a series of saturated colors. contrasting switches and cords add visual
interest to the graphic form, while the tray provides storage for jewelry and
other personal items.

I see High Roller as a flowing amorphic relaxing space ship or time capsule with no origin and no past, in space, a breath of life that has come from the universe. It is a complex form that is between natural and the artificial, mysterious yet harmonic.

The Box Lounger and The Box Sofa


Loook Industries is launching two new products at our representative Ab Evert Lindelöf during Stockholm International Furniture Fair 8-12.2.2011. The Box Lounger and The Box Sofa will be available from March 2011.
The box lounger provides a quite and visually secluted cover from the surrounding noise and movement. Generally this problem can be found in openspace office and public spaces.

"We tried to design a very comfortable sofa with contemporary design. PLOUM has a generous form in which takes the whole body on a plush and soft surface court. The organic form has a relatively low seat depth. The use of stretch material for the Reference is symbolic of a contemporary lifestyle in which flexibility in the use and convenience appear to us much. We have come up with the sofa like a ripe, savory fruit. "

Will so describe Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec their design, with which they take into account special moments of the day, relax in each of us or meet with others in the home. This should allow the greatest possible comfort to the body relax, in all possible positions in the traditional sitting position to a reclining position. The big 4-seater with its special semi-circular shape turns the user to each other to a common point. The sofas PLOUM are the result of a search of comfort. It is based on the particular combination of two materials: the stretch cover and a very soft foam. In combination with generous dimensions, the combination of these materials exceptional comfort and the possibility of different body positions.
