REWRITE Gamfratesi 

The Design Studio GamFratesi was founded in 2006 in Copenhagen by the Danish designer Stine Gam and Italian architect Enrico Fratesi. The Italian-Danish couple embodies two exceptional tradition of European design as a kind of magical union between South and North. The writing REWRITE, design ed like a bubble, is a real jewel, modern and gentle at the same time.

Even if you work at home, one would not necessarily make hisliving room open space. Both aesthetic and functional point REWRITE is suitable an amazing work perfectly cocoon with acoated with noise insulating wool cap, to protect concentrationand intimacy. The hood provides protection from light and noisefilters. The high-quality materials and walnut DIVINA terms of Kvadrat wool give a safety and security.

ELEPHANT WOOD
 the new Wood version of the Elephant chair, with legs in beech wood attached to the body by metal supports painted in the same color. Generous and light, the Elephant chair marks the beginning of a working partnership between Neuland Industriedesign and Kristalia in 2010. The body is available in hard polyurethane in various colours, with a 4-leg base or slide base with a chrome or satin finish, or lacquered in the same colour of the body. The padded version with cold-foamed polyurethane cushions upholstered in hide is even more refined and comfortable: it shows a handcrafted stitching which recalls the backbone of an elephant, adding a further touch of natural prestige to the concept of this chair.

The O table

Its shape, somewhere between a circle and a square, can seat up to eight people. A piece of high thermal resistance is embedded on the surface of the table to withstand high temperatures of hot items, an expressive addition to the table. The legs are L-shaped and form a solid and stable pyramid.
The O table can be easily assembled in a few minutes with simple household tools, and it comes in a flat package.
The O table is made of birch plywood, white laminate, porcelain tile, stainless steel fittings, and it is available with a satin finish on wood. Additional laminate colors are available on request-

THE NEW TITIKAKA BENCH, IN TEAK LATHES WITH AN ALUMINIUM FRAME, CONTRADICTS THE RIGID SHAPE OF TRADITIONAL OUTDOOR BENCHES. PERHAPS THE WAVES OF THE BOLIVIAN LAKE INSPIRED THIS INGENIOUS PIECE WHERE THE SURFACE OF THE SEAT SEEMS TO ALMOST RIPPLE WITH WONDERFUL EFFECT OF WIND OVER WATER. IN FACT, AROUND THE ALUMINIUM FRAME THE LATHES, WHICH CONTINUE TO THE FLOOR ON BOTH SIDES OF THE BENCH, HAVE A WAVY PROGRESSION, CREATING CURVES THAT ARE SCULPTURAL YET TRULY PRACTICAL FOR THE ERGONOMICS OF THE SEAT.

NAOTO FUKASAWA designer

BORN IN 1956 IN THE YAMANASHI PREFECTURE, JAPAN, HE GRADUATED IN 1980 FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF PRODUCT DESIGN AT THE TAMA ART UNIVERSITY. AFTER COLLABORATING WITH IDEO IN THE UNITED STATES FOR 8 YEARS, FUKASAWA WAS APPOINTED DIRECTOR OF IDEO JAPAN. IN 2003, HE ESTABLISHED THE “NAOTO FUKASAWA DESIGN” STUDIO. TOGETHER WITH IN-HOUSE DESIGNERS OF SEVERAL COMPANIES, HE IS CURRENTLY ORGANISING A SERIES OF WORKSHOPS AND EXHIBITIONS BEARING THE NAME “WITHOUT THOUGHT”, MEANT TO BE FOLLOWED BY THE PRODUCTION OF THE PERTAINING PUBLICATIONS. HIS SUCCESSFUL WALL-MOUNTED CD PLAYER DESIGNED DURING THE WORKSHOP WAS LAUNCHED INTO THE MARKET BY MUJI AND WON BOTH THE GERMAN IF GOLD AWARD 2002 AND THE BRITISH D&AD AWARD. UPON THE INVITATION OF THE NEW YORK MUSEUM OF MODERN ART, HE EXHIBITED HIS “PERSONAL SKIES” WORK WITHIN THE “WORKSPHERES” EXHIBITION. HE HAS BEEN AWARDED MANY PRIZES, LIKE THE PRESTIGIOUS JAPANESE “MAINICHI DESIGN AWARD” IN APRIL 2003. IN THE MONTH OF SEPTEMBER OF THE SAME YEAR, HE FOUNDED THE NEW BRAND “±0” FOR DESIGN HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCES AND INTERIOR DECORATION ACCESSORIES. HIS INFOBAR MOBILE PHONE BY KDDI/AU WAS LAUNCHED IN OCTOBER AND MET WITH IMMEDIATE SUCCESS. NAOTO IS A MEMBER OF MUJI’S ADVISORY BOARD FOR QUALITY DESIGN.
